Written by International TEFL Academy Costa Rica

Whether you are protestant, Catholic, evangelical, Mormon, Seventh Day Adventist, or Jehovah's Witness, you should be able to find a community of like-minded people to join while you are here in Costa Rica!  We've put together a list of churches that offer English-speaking or bilingual services around the country!

International Baptist Church

Guachipelin de Escazu

Although affiliated with the Baptist church, the International Baptist Church of Costa Rica welcomes people of all backgrounds, ministering primarily to the English-speaking international community of the central valley of Costa Rica. Sunday services are at 9:30am and 11am.  Sunday School classes are available for all ages, and there are small group Bible Studies that meet weekly throughout the metro area.

For transportation to the church, a pick-up service is provided on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m in front of the Teatro Nacional in San Jose, or at 9:00 am behind the Catholic Church in Ciudad Colon and 10:30 am in front of United World College in Santa Ana. Call Rodolfo (Spanish and English) at 8853-9328 if you have any questions.
